18th Asian Games- Creating a Global Landmark

Global events need symbols that people remember. Created as a landmark installation for the 18th Asian Games, this monumental artwork transforms a public venue into a powerful visual destination, celebrating achievement, unity, and the spirit of competition.

Where Wind Meets Design

The Brief

Major international events require more than signage. They require symbols.

For the 18th Asian Games, organizers sought a monumental landmark capable of expressing the spirit of competition, unity, and celebration while creating a memorable visual identity for visitors from around the world.

The Creation

We developed a large-scale kinetic landmark using a sea of golden reflective elements.

As sunlight and stage lighting move across the surface, the installation produces a dynamic metallic shimmer that brings energy and motion into the public realm. The artwork becomes a visual gathering point that amplifies the atmosphere of the Games.

The System

The WEIMODECOR Kinetic Art System enables large-scale movement without electricity. Designed for demanding outdoor environments, the system delivers exceptional durability, visual impact, and sustainability for high-profile public events.
